| Bio: | (Updated 01/02/2004) I graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County campus, in December of 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, concentration in Japanese Studies, and a minor in Literature. At the present time, I'm doing data entry for a private company subcontracted by the U.S. Customs Agency - basically I'm typing in cargo manifests for exports.. It's interesting work, and I think I've been MUCKing long enough that my hands are a little more resistant to repetitive-motion stresses. I think. ^.^;; I do have a bunch of hobbies, too ... anime is the biggest one, and the most expensive by far. Writing also counts as one of my hobbies, since I've been doing a lot of fanfiction - I have several stories in progress, mostly fanfics, but a couple of original stories are also under development at this point. I'm also into video games, including Dance Dance Revolution/DDR (and Dance With Intensity, a freeware DDR simulator for PC/Windows), Pokemon, Metroid, The Legend of Zelda, fighting games (at least a few) and some RPGs. On the subject of anime (and manga), my favorite series are perpetually subject to change. My biggest interest right now is in Yu-Gi-Oh!, and my new web site is going to include a web memex for the manga series (with anime references where applicable). I'm also into Angelic Layer, Tokyo Mew-Mew, Gundam, pretty much anything by Miyazaki Hayao, and (potentially) Galaxy Angel ... at least when I can get my hands on it. n.n; I do have a few lasting favorites, though: Bubblegum Crisis (preferably the OAVs, although Tokyo 2040 isn't bad), Vision of Escaflowne (TV series), Magic Knight Rayearth ... heck, show me anything by CLAMP and I'll at least take a look at it. ^_^' The full list of anime I like is too long to post. | |
